The Prayer Leader
I created this painting based on one of the stories in the Tales of Rabbi Nachman in which Rabbi Nachman describes the way in which a single person can illuminate and awaken others to leave their settled areas and pray, and the way they pray and sing songs and offer heartfelt praises to the Creator. This painting describes the situation of inclusion created by this righteous man along with the power of prayer, the connection to nature, and the purpose of Creation.
